NONNATIVE is the Japanese fashion label most strongly connected to ‘wheat’/Timberland-ish New Balance collaborations. They issued a ‘Coyote’ 1500 just after the turn of 2011, and now we see the same model take another crack at a golden brown suede build. This long-awaited United Arrows x New Balance 1500 is a smoother suede than that nappy desert build, and adds to its smooth appeal by replacing the traditional suede areas with more suede (which isn’t perforated as in the case of most such replacements). Matching socks extend the sandy tonality to the ankle, and you can see more images of this April 2013 release after the jump. UA x NB collabs had traditionally been difficult to acquire in the US, but the recent Beauty & Youth 1700s suggest we could get a stock of these at top retailers across America, so stick with Sneaker News for updates.
