During the All-Star Weekend in Houston, TX, Jordan Brand displayed a series of Air Jordan XX8 concepts behind glass showcases to boast the incredible design ideas of the XX8 – a shoe once thought to be “too plain” thanks to the monotone shroud upper. Those notions were quickly erased as Jordan featured several graphic prints on the upper, like this interesting composition of what appeared to be fragments of origami. Turns out the Air Jordan XX8 “Fractal Elephant Print” as Jordan Brand calls it were made specially for the 2013 Jordan Brand Classic, which goes down on April 13th at the Barclays Center. Will we see “Fractal Elephant Print” on Air Jordan Retros – particularly the Air Jordan III? We’ll have more event info for you later today so take a look below and stay tuned to Sneaker News for more updates.
