Following a drop exclusive to Detroit’s Burn Rubber on November 29th, the collaborative New Balance offering sees its global release next weekend. Driven by Vernors Ginger Ale, a nostalgic soft drink, this becomes the latest in peculiar references to inspire footwear releases. That said, for those who’ve stated that creativity in sneakers is lost, this release, among several others, is proof that claim is dead wrong.
