After quietly dropping exclusively at London’s Foot Patrol, fans of the collaborative New Balance 1500 that weren’t able to get their hands on a pair get some good news. The Foot Patrol x New Balance 1500 “Encyclopaedia”, inspired by the definitive source for knowledge in print, the Encyclopedia Brittanica, will also be receiving a global release. In the signature black, red, and gold color scheme of the encyclopedia set, the Made in England 1500 features a supple black leather and suede upper with gold branding accents and trimming finished with red NB logos at the heel. An off-white midsole and gum rubber outsole add to the classy look for one of the more impressive editions of the 1500 we’ve seen recently. Expect the Foot Patrol x New Balance 1500 at finer New Balance retailers, including Premier, this Saturday, February 7th.
