In unsurprising news, Nike signed Oregon alum and Heisman Trophy winner Marcus Mariota to its roster of NFL athletes.The projected #2 overall pick has been donning the neighborhood-friendly Swoosh logo on his uniforms for three seasons with the Ducks. The University of Oregon has strong ties with Nike given the roots of its founders, but the addition of Mariota is key considering Johnny Manziel’s disappointing start.
