Will Nike Cancel This Weekend’s Air Jordan Release Too? We Hope Not

Nike Air Foamposite Pro Sports Potential Delays 01

This past weekend, Nike canceled the online release of the Air Jordan 1 “Chicago” citing the overuse of bots as the main problem. The dependency of the frowned upon online helper to grab Jordan retros has been a reoccurring problem for quite some time, but with such a high-stakes release seeing a reschedule, even more retro releases could be at jeopardy. Sure, this Air Jordan 5 referencing the oft-forgotten Pro Stars cartoon program won’t be as in demand as one of the most classic sneakers of all time, but with Nikestore still reeling from the delays of this past weekend, we could see a release date change in the coming days. The interesting use of 90s vibrance in the form of Infrared 23 and Poison Green create a gradient ont he speckled midsole while a black ventilated mesh netting contrasts the clean white leather upper. For the time being, expect this Air Jordan 5 “Pro Stars” to arrive this weekend. More photos below.
