Is the adidas Ultra Boost hype sustainable? The wildly popular all-white and black/white pairs that led off the adidas Ultra Boost Collective set the tone for this high-performance running sneaker that got a sudden boost thanks to the Kanye co-sign, but the verdict is still out on the follow-up pairs, like this argyle graphic done by Kris Van Assche. The Belgian designer is, ironically, recognized for his tonal white and tonal black aesthetic, but considering those colorways have already been knocked out, Assche brings in a “preppy” look that Kanye might’ve approved…a decade ago. In any case, these are hitting select adidas shops now.
