It looks like Nike isn’t the only brand celebrating Kobe’s Bryant’s final run on the NBA court. Don’t forget, Kobe began his career wearing adidas, and even got his first three championships while wearing the Three Stripes. adidas hasn’t forgotten Kobe’s time with them either, as they honor the Black Mamba with a two-shoe pack including the Top Ten 2000—the first adidas shoe Kobe wore after joining the NBA—and the KB 8 (now Crazy 8)—his very first signature shoe. Inspired by Kobe’s lesser-used nickname “Vino”, each shoe features cork detailing and “wine labels” on the tongues, with the Top Ten 2000 in white and the Crazy 8 in wine-red. adidas-sponsored NBA players like Kyle Lowry already have their pairs, but there’s no official word yet of retail release, so stay tuned.
