The final month of 2017 is shaping up to be big for the Air Jordan 6, with confirmed release dates for two Gatorade-inspired colorways as well as this highly anticipated “UNC” version. Jordan Brand is borrowing the revered color-blocking from the Air Jordan 6 “Infrared” and implementing it onto this new style with Carolina Tar Heel blue as another tribute to Michael Jordan’s alma mater. This well-received colorway will mark the third UNC-inspired offering in the last two months as the “Win Like 82” pack hit shelves earlier in November, but this certainly won’t be the last as Jordan Brand has made concerted efforts to refocus on the Tar Heel heritage.
