Nike’s Metallic Gold To Appear On Three Air Max Models Next Week

Next week is set to be a busy one for Air Max enthusiasts the world over as three Air Max silhouettes, two iconic and one brand new, are set to release dressed in a heralded original colorway. The “Metallic Gold” Vapormax 97, releasing for the first time, takes the classic Air Max 97 upper and places it on top of a crystal-clear Vapormax cushioning unit. The Air Max 97 “Metallic Gold,” one of the most well-known 97s ever, returns after re-releasing last April. The Air Max Plus returns to market as well, also dressed in the same rich gold colorway with red accents. If you’re aiming to give your sneaker collection the Midas touch, all three models will arrive on Nike.com May 17th with the Air Vapormax 97 retailing for $190, while the Air Max 97 and Air Max Plus retail at $160.
