Ben Felderstein Public School New York has cemented itself as one of the top purveyors of the expansive joint catalog shared between Nike and the Jordan Brand, with finely crafted collaborations the likes of their esteemed Jordan 12s. This year, in conjunction with New York Fashion Week, the fashion label is set to release three deconstructed takes on one of the industry’s most important silhouettes – the Air Force 1 High. Utilizing PSNY’s elegant aesthetic, these three Forces don a mixture of the Air Force 1 Low, Mid, and High to create a pieced together look that will have interested parties chomping at the bit for a pair. Deconstructed motifs have become one of the most popular looks in sneakers today, but the designers over at PSNY still managed to put forth a truly unique concept they can call their own. An AF1 Mid-inspired strap repositioned on this selection’s heel is one of the most notable examples of this, but other elements like exposed stitching and a detached midfoot Swoosh get the point across as well.
Official images for the Triple White version of this hotly-anticipated collaboration have not surfaced, so it is certainly possible that this unit will be exclusive to Public School’s site. For now, we do know that all three pairs will be available at PublicSchoolNYC.com tomorrow, and that the black and the grey varieties will be arriving on Nike SNKRS and other select retailers at a later date.
