ASAP Rocky And UA To Host A “Skate Rave” Pop-Up For His Sneaker Release

ASAP Rocky And UA To Host A “Skate Rave” Pop-Up For His Sneaker Release

With ASAP Rocky‘s long-awaited Under Armour SRLo shoe finally set to drop today, the AWGE head and UA are throwing a “Skate Rave” pop-up/party in his hometown of Harlem to celebrate. The event will span four floors, each offering a different ’90s-themed experience from a skate park to a house party — and of course, Rocky’s new kicks will be available as well. Arriving in two colors — a black/blue/white and a triple black — the chunky skate shoes offer an aesthetic that’s unmistakably ’90s with their multiple overlapped panels, puffy tongue, and large midsole with UA HOVR cushioning tech. AWGE/UA branding appears on the tongue, and each shoe offers reflective material on the upper, so the wearer will even stand out in the dark. Both pairs retail for $250 and will be available in a run of 250 pairs each at the pop-up today before releasing on UA’s webstore in the coming weeks. Check out images of both shoes below, and if you’re in New York, be sure to head over to Harlem this afternoon if you want to grab a pair of Pretty Flacko’s new kicks.
