Patta And Nike Are Releasing Another Air Span II

Few Nike collaborators can boast the kind of accolade-filled resume that Amsterdam’s Patta has. When it comes to collaborative NSW classics, they’ve created them in bunches — just look at their extensive slate of legendary Air Max 1s and Air Max 90s. But Patta knows how to do more than just Max: after a special friends and family co-branded Air Span II dropped at the beginning of the year, they’re bringing their particular touch to the old-school runner yet again, and this time it’ll see an actual retail release. Calling upon a stately slate of dark-colored tones, the special Spans boast rich brown and maroon overlays, while a light sandy brown mesh is used for the base. Small burnt orange hits on the tongue, heel, and outsole add an extra dash of seasonal color into the mix, and Swooshes — one small, one large — arrive on the midfoot and mudguard. For a finishing touch, Patta branding adorns the white tongue patch. As Patta is known for their special apparel — think tracksuits and sweatsuits — just as much as their legendary footwear collabs, the shoes will also be accompanied by a full collection of gear.
