Where To Buy Kendrick Lamar Nike Cortez Slip “House Shoes”

As the current undisputed king of the Nike Cortez, Kendrick Lamar holds a special place among Nike collaborators. The Pulitzer Prize-winning artist has always had great affinity for the sneaker — as it boasts an ardant following in California where he was raised — and he’s about to be a whopping four collaborations deep with the impending release of his Cortez Slip “House Shoes.” Replacing the Cortez’s standard lacing system with a large puffy tongue and a toggle on the heel to adjust the fit, the shoes draw inspiration from a timeless West Coast tradition: wearing house slippers when in the comfort of your home. Retro style is provided by a white and grey nylon upper with navy and orange accents, and “House Shoes” is printed vertically across the large tongue. To complete the combination of two Left Coast classics, “Preferably Wear With Shorts And Tall Socks” appears on the insole. Unlike Lamar’s previous Cortez releases — which usually occurred in conjunction with his concerts or TDE pop-ups — these new house shoes will see a full retail release, so check out our comprehensive Where To Buy list below to see where you can secure a pair come October 14th.
