This Premium Take On The Nike Air Max 1 Features Cut-Out Swoosh Logos

From turning the Air Max 1 it fully inside out to dressing it in a wide variety of new colorways, Nike has kept the 1987 classic extremely busy as of late, and now they’re re-working it with another new embellishment: cut-out Swoosh logos. Featuring a combo of earthy tan and sand tones, the most noticeable design feature on these AM1s is surely the quarter panel, which features a carved check design that reveals the tightly-knit mesh base. However, that’s not the only uncommon detail here. There’s also a myriad of textures on the upper, ranging from geometric cubes on the mudguard and quarter to a haphazard tile on the heel and collar. Bright infrared accents and rope laces then complete the upper’s look, and the shoe is rounded off by a white midsole, natural Air Max unit, and tan outsole. These new Nike shoes will arrive on Nike.com this summer, so enjoy a full collection of images below while you wait for the release.
