Nike Is Releasing An Air Max 97 Inspired By The Air Foamposite One

Borrowing the likeness of the pair with which it shares its originating year, the Air Max 97 arrives in an armored out tooling akin to the most imposing of street staples, the Air Foamposite One. While on quick glance a generally contemporary outfit for the silhouette, detailed looks reveal some of the modifications true to its fraternal twin. A metallic finished mudguard creates a connection to the hardshell molds of the aforementioned, with the iconic carbon fiber hits squeezing their way in right above the foxing of the profile. Mesh is the same open knit weave in a black matte with waved piping adding contrast by way of a smoother leather. Grab a full look at this homage to 1997 below and find them available now at the select retailers below and rolling out to Nike.com very soon.
