A Chilly Blue And Grey Print Appears On The Nike Air Max Tailwind IV SP

Discarding the base model’s sporty look in favor of a more military-themed aesthetic, Nike’s Air Max Tailwind IV SP gives the beloved sneaker an interesting makeover, and now it’s surfaced with a new blue/grey colorway. Gone is the standard mesh/leather upper, replaced entirely by a ripstop material that’s dressed in a snow camo-esque combination of blue and grey. This toned-down style is accented even further on the midfoot, which replaces the standard plastic overlays with a non-textured embroidered version. However, a punch of color shines through the stormy upper thanks to a bold strip of honeycomb-printed volt green on the heel. The tongue is slimmed down as well to further the model’s overall air of sleekness, and tonal Nike branding is dispersed throughout. Down below, the soft grey midsole is covered by a silver speckled print and houses silver Air Max cushioning units. Things are then finalized by a silver outsole with a little more volt green detailing. Check out a full set of official images below, and expect these unique Tailwinds to release on Nike.com in the coming weeks for $170 USD.
