The Nike Vapormax 2019 Adapts An Iconic Air Max Colorway

The Nike Air Max 95 “Neon” is unquestionably one of the most notable makeups in the three decade-plus history of the beloved visible cushioning technology, and the Swoosh Brand has paid homage to the Sergio Lozano-designed classic in several different ways over the years, the latest of which is this new take on the Vapormax 2019. The translucent TPE upper takes on a wolf grey tone, while jet black provides accents via the trim, tongue, and heel. Signature volt green with a black gradient fade is then used for the underlaid midfoot cage, and also appears unadorned on the lace loops. Branding is provided by a black midfoot Swoosh/repeating Nike Air logo print on the heel seam, while a jet-black Vapormax cushioning unit finalizes the visible part of the look. That’s not all though, as there’s even a traditional Air Max 95-style badge on the insole, interpolated with Vapormax text to really bring things full circle. Take a look at a complete set of images and retailer list directly below, and if you want to see the “Neon” 95s interpreted in a different fashion, be sure to check out the recently-revealed Air Max Uptempo “Neon” as well.
