maharishi Celebrates TriBeCa Flagship Store With Nike Air Max 90 Collaboration

No stranger to collaborations — with their most recent Nike By You execution adding tiger swooshes and camo prints — maharishi continues to celebrate in tandem, honoring the newer TriBeCa retail location with a commemorative Air Max 90. Dressed from head to toe in a connection to militaria, the pair dials things up by just a slight notch, creating a quite alluring and almost naturally faded olive tone through their signature process of natural dyeing. The whole construction follows in this more sustainable direction, with laces taking on the same methods as the aforementioned, soles arriving by way of Nike Grind, and sawdust from their shipping palettes pigmenting its accents in a connection to the raw woodgrain seen within the store itself. Light browns add contrast through compliments across quite a few of the overlays, white shades tinted down by a few refrain from being disjointed, and custom branded tags both at the tongue and insole ensure a fitting yet subtle sign off. At first exclusive to both their New York and London locations, the pair’s will be raffled off come August 22nd and then an online drop will follow shortly come August 30th.
