Michael Le Both Nike and their retail partners alike have been enamored with the idea of “Home and Away,” using it every so often with special releases. And though they explored the idea quite a bit back with Foot Locker, it looks like the brand is ostensibly picking up where they left off as they bring the themes to the Air Max 90. One blue and the other a far brighter orange, the pack effectively uses color complements as its core motif while structural elements are shared wholly regardless of scheme. Mudguard overlays are composed of a textured suede finish while smooth leathers accent atop at the toe box and side profile. Heel tabs as well as the tooling’s signature molds align with whichever palette, following suit with the jewel swoosh and lace unit who standout via their cool or warm tone hue.
