Jordan Brand Revisits A Recent Classic With The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Satin Red”

The Air Jordan 1 has ostensibly done everything under the sun since hitting the market in 1985. Yet, through solo and joint efforts, the beloved silhouette has continued to reinvent itself, all while nodding to its rich legacy. As part of its Fall 2020 collection, Jordan Brand is doing just that with the women’s-exclusive Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Satin Red”.

An alternate twist on 2019’s “Satin Black Toe” colorway, the forthcoming Air Jordan release features a mix of satin, leather, and faux snakeskin, the most latter drawing attention to itself throughout the model’s rear. This Jordan 1 differs from adjacent pairs in Jordan Brand’s Fall 2020 collection in that it covers its mixed-materials arrangement in a timeless red, black, and white color scheme, the two most former hues switching their “Satin Black Toe” placements. Underfoot, sole units forgo any luxe detailing in favor of a simple “yin-and-yang” palette employed by several Jordans this year.

While no official release date has been confirmed, the women’s Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Satin Red” is slated to hit Nike SNKRS come Fall. In the meantime, enjoy a closer look at the pair ahead.
