When you’ve been alive on this Earth for three decades it’s definitely a milestone that deserves to be acknowledged, and that’s certainly been the case for the Air Max 90 which has celebrated its 30th anniversary through many a colorway this year. If there’s a trend that stands out amongst its releases, it’s certainly the camouflage motif as it has touched down on three striking makeups thus far, but as confirmed by this newly-emerged makeup, it doesn’t appear that the military-inspired movement will be going anywhere anytime soon.
This variation however is slightly different in the sense that for one, it makes use of ripstop tiger camo patterns as opposed to the aforementioned styles which favored duck camo graphics. Secondly, instead of adorning the mudguards/midfoot overlay, they land on the toe boxes and rear paneling that runs from ankle to heel. Juicy bursts of orange are the most outstanding feature of this colorway, not only integrating in the aforementioned patterns, but in various shadings; ones that match up in darker fashion across the midfoot and heels, and in brighter fashion along the Swooshes and heightened eye stay molds. Sandwiching its angelic midsole comes mudguards and midfoot overlays with black finishes, and outsoles that see through to two-toned gum/black paneling.
