Elliot Santiago Although still in the early stages of its lifespan, the Nike Vapormax 2020 has been nothing short of well-received, and if the sold out “Smoke Grey” release this morning is any indication, there’s a good chance this model will continue to sell like hot cakes. Time is of the essence and it appears that the Swoosh team doesn’t want to waste any of it as they are already set to supply their consumers with a brand new colorway in just several days time.
While past releases have also leaned on multi-colored accents, the ones on this forthcoming take dial to levels slightly higher in vibrance. Knitted uppers are sewn with a “Deep Royal Blue”, and interwoven with white Swooshes, tiny skittle-like boxes throughout, and a bright blue wavy overlay that runs from the midfoot to the heel. In terms of extra details, the FlyEase-marked tongues and heels alternate between a collection of neons, the former of which hosts Regrind-inspired patterns, and the midsole molds usher in marbled swirls of orange and blue against its grey backdrop.
