Nike Pours Out A Women’s Colorway Of Water-Based Air Max 2090

Nike Pours Out A Women’s Colorway Of Water-Based Air Max 2090

Nike’s “current shoe of the future,” the Air Max 2090, has dressed up in dozens of colorways inspired by the cities of its namesake year. Scattered throughout, however, have been arrangements that have borrowed from the familiar, including water and its molecular breakdown.

Previously seen on a pair for men, the aquatic-themed ensemble has re-emerged in a style for women. Whereas the adjacent pair features rich blue patterns on the mudguards, the women’s-exclusive proposal dons an iridescent finish on the Air Max 90-inspired components. Wave-reminiscent motifs appears all over the mesh base, which is overlaid with semi-transparent synthetics. Branding on the tongue, exposed stitching along the midfoot and detailing on the heel pull tab boast a contrasting faint neon green hue. Remaining accents – rear logos, lining, Air Max units – indulge in shades of off-white, which pair well with the blue option.
