As 2021 approached, various silhouettes within the beloved Air Jordan line have begun appearing in ensembles prepped for the new year. Among them, the Air Jordan 1 Mid has revealed both in-line and special releases, with the former ostensibly adding a kid’s-exclusive pair covered in paint drip-accents to its roster.
Smooth “White” leather sets the stage for a green, yellow and pink combination that takes over the heel. Collar underlays, however, which indulge in a muted yellow, boast textile construction featuring a honeycomb-reminiscent pattern. Ankle flap overlays and the panels underneath the profile swooshes sport a crackled makeup, just as the aforementioned sidewall logos; both components are accompanied by drip graphics, with the former’s extending on the midsole. Sockliners and Jumpman branding on the tongue opt into an eye-catching pink tone, while outsoles on the mid-top Jordan 1 round out the pair in the soft yellow that appears around the collar.
