This Nike DBreak-Type SE Is Color Blocked In Oatmeal And Neons

The Daybreak has garnered a large fanbase as a vintage silhouette that conveys timeless class. While still retaining its heritage-inspired look, Nike has been able to modernize the Daybreak to deliver the DBreak-Type SE. After quite a few subdued renditions in the past few months, the silhouette is landing on a scheme balanced in its use of both neons and neutrals.

The almost-black, navy “Obsidian” dresses the entirety of the base to allow the brighter elements to stand out. Oatmeal, which is used around the toe and back tab, is complemented by the neon “Volt” on the quarter panel and vibrant crimson on the counter. The swoosh, laces, and midsole then add pops of white for a clean, modern look that still creates a statement.

The DBreak-Type SE will be available at Nike.com when it releases soon. For more news about the Swoosh, check out BAIT and Nike Japan’s wagyu-inspired Air Force 1.
