Nike Applies “The Future Is In The Air” Colorway Palette To The Air Max 90

While not officially announced, Nike Sportswear’s “The Future Is In The Air” capsule for 2021 has recently added the Nike Air Max 90, which appears in a predominantly “White” colorway complemented by high-vis accents.

Unlike the adjacent Nike Air Max options in the collection, the forthcoming take on Tinker Hatfield’s 30-year-old design delivers a tame aesthetic. The mixed-materials upper indulges two shades of “White,” while TPU components and patent leather profile swooshes boast coral, light blue or “Infrared” contrast. The capsule’s namesake lands on the left shoe’s tongue label instead of on the lateral heel like on the included Air Max 2090. Underfoot, sole units boast much of the same color palette, but are devoid of the bright blue that animates upper eyestays.

Enjoy official images of this impressive pair here below, and anticipate a Nike.com launch in the first half of 2021.

In other news, Undefeated is adding a UCLA-friendly colorway to Air Max 97 soon.
