Sneaker News Europe’s size? isn’t a stranger to New Balance, but the retailer seems to have developed a closer relationship to the Boston-based brand over the last year. Soon, the overseas institution will add a simple, but impressive New Balance 574 to its storied roster of collaborations.
Unlike its forthcoming New Balance 550 collaboration, size?’s runner indulges in a rather tonal color scheme. Vibrant orange, however, is at the forefront, nodding to the retailer’s signature branding. Premium pig suede is overlaid atop a mesh base, and complemented by leather paneling at the heel. Laces, tongues, profile “N” logos and cushioning technology underfoot deviate from the eye-catching citrus tone in favor of shades of white. Tread rounds out the pair in tried-and-proven black, creating an arrangement that simultaneously feels vintage and modern.
