Jovani Hernandez Although the Nike Air Force 1 turns 40 in 2022, the silhouette has emerged in dozens of noteworthy colorways since the start of 2021. Its latest proposition follows a fan-approved color palette and style: A “Black/White” colorway accompanied by “Metallic Gold” accents.
Dark-colored, smooth leather sets the stage for contrasting profile swooshes and heel panels, the latter introducing shimmering flair into the mix. “NIKE AIR” branding on the tongue label also follow suit, but are unquestionably overshadowed by both the miniature swooshes on the lateral forefoot and “AF1“-branded lace dubraes. Underfoot, sole units forgo any “Metallic Gold” detailing in favor of a tried-and-proven, all-“White” makeup.
