The New Balance 327 Accents With A “Summer Jade” Gradient

A mish-mash of three ’70s runners, the New Balance 327 is one of the Boston-based brand’s newer models yet flaunts a vintage aesthetic. Often dressed in solid earthy tones, the silhouette now gets refreshing, brightly-colored gradients that are much rather modern.

Although the New Balance 327 had already received gradient nylon uppers for its “Black/Summer Fog” arrangement, this “Black/Summer Jade” variant deviates from the black and grey scheme of the aforementioned pair, as suggested by its name. The “Summer Jade” gradient is a transition from aqua to yellow-green for a Spring-ready design. Similar to the “Summer Fog” colorway, this style also sees black suede overlays and a dark sole unit. A light grey, oversized “N” logo brands the 2020 model and completes to bold look.

The pair will be available for purchase on March 6th at BILLY’S Tokyo. While NB fans elsewhere would have to stay tuned for a release date.

In other NB news, a New Balance 1500 from 2006 is making a comeback.
