Jasmine Tang From his 27th birthday celebration to his Grammy win for Best Latin Pop or Urban Album, March has been quite a month for Bad Bunny. The Puerto Rican artist’s streak of milestones continues with his first collaborative sneaker with adidas—the adidas Forum Buckle Low—releasing tomorrow.
Dubbed “The First Café,” the model blends the musician’s eccentric style with components that are true to the adidas Forum. It seems to be constructed of premium materials, with buttery leather uppers that are offset by soft suede elements to craft a tonal java colorway—an ode to Bad Bunny’s essential morning cup of coffee. The artist further personalizes the pair with two sets of interchangeable, overlapping tongues. Thus, wearers can choose between sporting his signature eye logo or the adidas trefoil insignia in a shocking blue shade. While the classic ankle strap remains on the Forum Low, it instead sports a nylon makeup for a tactical look, also reading “YO VISTO ASI” under the velcro. Added lace locks on the heel and a double heel tab effect round out the singer’s first design with adidas.
