Instead of smooth leather, however, the successor boasts a textured counterpart across its top-half, including the profile swooshes and “NIKE AIR”-branded heel panel. Underfoot, sole units maintain their classic “White”-on-“White” aesthetic, which is a go-to option in locales like the Bronx and Harlem, but the lace dubraes forgo their plastic “colorless” or silver makeup for an eye-catching metallic gold finish.
