Nike’s Logo-Heavy Mudguard Appears On The Air Max Plus For Kids

Nike’s Logo-Heavy Mudguard Appears On The Air Max Plus For Kids

Throughout its nearly six-decade history, Nike has rendered, remixed, and revisited a handful of logos beyond its classic Swoosh. An upcoming GS Nike Air Max Plus commemorates the brand’s and its Air Max line’s many insignias via an overbranded mudguard, similar to the toeguards of a recently-revealed Air Max 95.

Despite the use of overbranding, the model flaunts a clean, streamlined look that starts with a plush, white mesh base. The signature wavy TPU design lines are also in white, camouflaging into the uppers. Hints of Neon are used sparingly, primarily found on the lace loops, outsole, and the black and Neon gradient midsole piece. The most notable detail of this Tuned Air silhouette is the gray mudguard that wraps around the entire model, which features a pattern of various Nike Air Max logos. Since the overbranded pattern is in tonal grey, a sleek look is still maintained.

Enjoy official images below as you wait for the pair to arrive at the listed retailers this spring/summer 2021 for $145.
