Although gradients have been used to take footwear designs to the next level, the multicolored fade effect has been channeled by the Nike Air Max Plus since its debut in 1998. Following a citrusy, white-and-orange gradient pair that had emerged recently, a GS-exclusive Air Max Plus has just been revealed to exhibit a sweet “Cherry-White/Burgundy’ colorway.
The uppers of this kids’ style see a dark-burgundy-to-white gradient that is also demonstrated by the midsole piece. This dark red also colors the tongue, leather mudguards, and the signature wavy TPU overlays. The shade further animates the white Swoosh overlay applied to the lateral side. To add back some hits of brightness and offset the richness of the burgundy, white is found on the laces, heel tab, inside, and midsole. The result is yet another impressive offering from the Tuned Air favorite.
