Yellowstone Joins The National Parks Foundation x adidas ZX 8000 Capsule

feature image

The National Parks Foundation has already commemorated three of its destinations on the adidas ZX series. Soon joining odes to Joshua Tree, Crater Lake and Glacier is an adidas ZX 8000 dedicated to Yellowstone.

Akin to previous arrangements in the collection, the forthcoming sneaker indulges in earth tones inspired by the Wyoming, Montana and Idaho-spanning national park. “Tech Copper” sets the stage for much more muted “Linen” and “Brown” tones, with all three colors animating the CORDURA® nylon and leather upper. Hits of light blue enter the mix across the profile 3-Stripes and laces, nodding to Yellowstone’s unique hydrothermal landmarks; a graphic of the park’s setting replaces traditional adidas branding on the tongue. Underfoot, a yellow midsole complements Torsion tooling predominantly dipped in shades of brown, save for the bar at the center of the outsole, which boasts a colorful gradient finish.
