Human Made Makes The Most Comfortable Slip-On With Its Next adidas Collaboration

Japanese streetwear label Human Made and founder NIGO are no strangers to the adidas brand, as demonstrated by a number of collaborative releases throughout the years. With the likes of the adidas Rivalry Low and the adidas Marathon TR, NIGO has allowed Human Made to explore and revive some of the Three Stripes’ lesser-known models. For their next collaboration, the legendary designer has searched through the sportswear brand’s archive to deliver a Boost-cushioned slip-on that references adidas’s kung fu shoes.

The new silhouette will come in three versatile colorways that include black, army green, and off-white. Each pair consists of perforated leather uppers. The front features Human Made’s heart logo largely embroidered with thread that matches the uppers for a tonal look. An “R” in a decorative font is printed on the insole to pay tribute to the kung fu footwear the slip-on is inspired by. As for the sole unit, the Pure Boost foam midsole is reminiscent of the Boost soles created during the innovation’s earliest days. Underfoot, a unique treading pattern of repeated trefoil logos and crisscrossing lines is found, constructed of a familiar brown rubber.
