The Nike Air Max 90 Goes Stealthy With A Wealth Of Materials

The Nike Air Max 90 Goes Stealthy With A Wealth Of Materials

While vivid hues are fitting for the approaching summer season, one can never go wrong with a sleek triple-black style. The Nike Air Max 90 is returning in an all-black colorway and getting crafty with a mix of materials.

Although the model is primarily composed of mesh, different weaving techniques are used. The mesh toe sees a close-knit pattern while the ankle and tongue opt for a style of mesh that involves checkerboard-like prints. Additionally, the overlays and side Swooshes are composed of different types of leather. The leather used on the overlays reveals a subtle, repeated diamond pattern but the profile Swooshes see a matte smooth leather build instead. Even the mudguards introduce another texture by adopting a suede look. The wholly black look is furthered by the standard TPU accents also colored in black to complete the stealthy style.

Take a closer look at the Air Max 90 below, which will hit the listed retailers in the coming months at a price of $120.

In other Swoosh-related news, the Air Max Plus is also going triple-black.
