The KITH x New Balance RC_1300 Is An Ode To The Two Brand’s Long-Standing Relationship

In the 10 years since their founding, KITH has made connections throughout the world, joining hands with renowned chefs, artists, and creatives alike. And as the streetwear label closes out their 10th anniversary, they’re inviting one of their closest friends, New Balance, to join in the fanfare. The two, with this trio of RC_1300s, are looking back at their very first collaborative project, simultaneously celebrating both where they started and what’s ahead.

The RC_1300, with all its highly-tuned upgrades, sees three colorways: “Astro,” “Canvas,” and “Dusty Mauve,” each collectively an homage to some of Ronnie Fieg‘s most famous color choices. Pigskin suedes and similarly high quality mesh proffer the NB standard, while the oversized “N” logo at the sides etch with KITH’s monogram pattern. Pegasus logos, then, brand adjacent atop the lateral toe, symbolizing the decades worth of history both Fieg and the footwear institution share. These insignias are further echoed throughout the insole and customized box and are rounded out by both “KITH” and “FIEG” text at the backside of the shoe.

Additionally, KITH has highlighted many a master of craft for their campaign. Ranging worlds both culinary and art-focused, the talent stands tall alongside their work and the aforementioned RC_1300s.
