Intimately intertwined with the Nike archive, COMME des GARCONS HOMME PLUS has relentlessly delivered one Swoosh classic after another. And following their interpretations of the Air Carnivore as well as the Foamposite, the Japanese institution is to support yet another (relatively) forgotten silhouette: the Air Sunder Max.

Thrust down the runway of the label’s Spring/Summer ’22 show, the collaboration proffers a timeless look, one more simple than that of the original silhouette. Across each colorway — of which there are three total as per standard — the upper builds out of a smooth, almost glistening nylon. This shell is then overlaid below with what looks to be leather, its placement parallel to the side’s miniature Swoosh and the understated zipper construction. Thankfully, the sole remains faithful as it delivers the same tooling found on past appearances.

Take a closer look at the White/Black, Triple White, and Triple Black colorways below and expect release details to surface closer to 2022.
