First rumored to be the next installment in the ever-successful “Shattered Backboard” series that began 2015, the Air Jordan 1 “Electro Orange” finally releases tomorrow, July 17th.

Akin to the aforementioned lineup, the upcoming retro indulges in a color palette reminiscent of the uniform Michael Jordan played in during his trip to Europe following his season as a rookie in the NBA. Yet, “Starfish” is replaced with a much more vibrant “Electro Orange,” which animates the collar area and outsole. Remaining paneling throughout the upper divvy up a “White” and “Black” arrangement, with the latter hue covering most of the forefoot, all of the tongue and profile swooshes; “Wings” insignias on the lateral ankle flap follow suit, nodding to the first Jordans‘ original makeup. Together, each component on the pair blends #23’s legacy with compelling style for the modern-day.
