Back in January, Travis Scott was spotted wearing an Air Jordan 1 Low OG with a lateral reverse swoosh. While many believed this pair to simply be La Flame’s use of the University of Carolina’s colors, the retro has panned out as a three-way collaboration between the Texas-native, Team Jumpman and Hiroshi Fujiwara’s fragment design label.

Touted as having began as a “fragment of [Scott’s] imagination,” the upcoming release is one of two sneakers to hit retail. A taller Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG launched via raffle on July 29th (with reports claiming some bots secured 32,000 entries per person), but it’s lost some favor to the shorter silhouette. Unlike its counterpart, the follow-up drop indulges in the model’s inaugural “Black Toe” color-blocking. High-quality, smooth leather at the bases boast a white makeup that allows the cream lateral swooshes and rich blue hits that take over everything from “NIKE AIR” branding on the tongue label and bottom heel overlay to revel in the spotlight; midsoles also indulge in a seemingly-“aged” aesthetic. Elsewhere, logos from all parties involved are embroidered and debossed at the heel.

Enjoy official images of Scott and Fujiwara’s low-top joint-effort ahead, and anticipate a Nike SNKRS launch come August 13th for $150 USD.
