Jovani Hernandez Reebok‘s never been shy to enter the world of glitz and glamor, collaborating with high-profile celebrities and institutions, but its recently gone on a Hollywood run that’s resulted in a handful of releases co-created with the Power Rangers franchise. The latest proposition?: A Reebok Instapump Fury inspired by Rita Repulsa.
Obsessed with conquering Earth, the “Mighty Morphin Power Rangers” villain gets her signature patterned garb recreated across the Steven Smith-designed silhouette from 1996. The pair’s fabric base indulges in a sandy pink, while the profile panels don a black and gold arrangement directly transplanted from Repulsa’s chest and headpiece. Elsewhere, hairy heel panels, pointed accents around the PUMP button and catchphrase graphics on the sock-liner round out the nod to the 1990s television villain.
Although some select retailers had this collaborative Instapump Fury scheduled for August 1st, no Reebok.com launch details have been disclosed. In any case, enjoy images of the pair ahead.
