Michael Le It’s rare that the Air Jordan 9 sees the spotlight. But soon, following quite a few months of silence, the silhouette is to join the brand’s Holiday 2021 line-up, boasting a new, bold “Chile Red” colorway.
Teased back in December of last year, the pair makes full use of its titular color. You can find it employed throughout every fixture save for the metallic eyelets, heel branding, and outsole — all three of which opt for a much darker, black finish. And though the aforementioned red may be identical in shade at every example, the textures it’s used atop are far more unique, distinct with their quilted stitch, patent leather, and the like.
Boxed in OG packaging, the Air Jordan 9 “Chile Red” is due in just a couple of months in both Men’s and GS sizing.
In other news, we may also be seeing the Air Jordan 1 GORE-TEX.
