Jovani Hernandez Currently in the midst of its 30th anniversary, the Saucony Shadow 6000 has been delivering original stylings all year long. Most recently, however, the 1991-design has looked to the great outdoors for two new colorways under the “Destination Unknown” banner.
A mix of muted tones spearheaded by light cream and grey take over much of the high-quality suede that covers each pair’s upper. Collar lining and branding on the tongue label deviate from their drab surroundings in varying shades of red, with the tone helping create a military garb-reminiscent arrangement on one of Saucony‘s two offerings. Non-standard stitching on the lateral forefoot deliver a “repaired” aesthetic, which goes well with the capsule’s theme of travel without a plan. Sole units on both run bird-branded sneakers proffer the model’s tried-and-proven cushioning with color detailing that matches their respective uppers.
