Jovani Hernandez As the Nike Air Max 97 heads into its 25th anniversary, it’s emerged in handfuls of more non-original styles for all style preferences. For its latest proposition, Christian Tresser’s iconic design has appeared in a Spider-Man-friendly color palette exclusively for kids.
Mesh base layers on the newly-surfaced pair are clad in a vibrant blue tone; tongues and upper vamp overlays follow suit. Center strips on the pond ripple-inspired upper deliver stark red contrast, with mid-foot swooshes opting for the same flair. Navy enters the mix via the mudguards as well as the full-length Air Max unit underfoot. Together, these components evoke Peter Parker’s alter-ego’s iconic suit.
