The Nike Air Max 90 has been a constant within the brand’s roster of products since debuting 31 years ago. Yet, the model has arguably been busier than ever over the last two years. Before 2022 begins, the sneaker continues to emerge in non-original, but compelling styles.
For its latest proposition, the Air Max III (as it was originally called) has indulged in a predominantly white and black colorway exclusive to kids. Bottom halves (from mudguard to outsole) are dipped in a “colorless” tone, with Air Max units at the heel blending in with its surroundings. Above, synthetic leather and TPU components stretching from toe box to upper heel deviate in stark dark contrast. Profile swooshes and tongues, however, also forgo the sole unit’s white makeup, but for a much more vibrant arrangement. Shimmering silver and pink take over branding on the aforementioned parts, while a non-standard dual pull tab on top of the tongue introduces blue, gold and burgundy into the mix.
Full release details have yet to be disclosed, but this Air Max 90 is likely to hit Nike.com soon. In any case, enjoy official images of the shoes here below.
