Michael Le With their take on the adidas Forum Exhibit Low, Melting Sadness seems to be brimming with ideas. Arriving alongside their dog-inspired interpretation are two more vibrant colorways, both of which are built to resemble puppets.
The pairs distinguish themselves in how they use the same palette, one comprised of bright greens, baby blues, pale yellows, and a number of different earth tones. But structurally, they share the same exact DNA, highlighting certain fixtures with corduroy and other with smooth leathers as well as more velvety suedes. What’s more, the construction takes a thematically sensible DIY approach, with the Three Stripes being bolted down with silver metallic hardware and the panels stitched visibly with thick, contrasted threads.
