First-Look At The Travis Scott x Nike Air Max 1 “Dusty Sage”

UPDATE (11/15/2021):
NIKE, Inc. has officially postponed this Travis Scott x Nike Air Max 1 collaboration. No new release date has been confirmed by the brand.

Following the tragic loss of eight lives at the Astroworld Festival on November 5th, the future of Travis Scott‘s five-pair Nike Air Max 1 collaboration is uncertain. Yet, new images of the sneakers have recently appeared, with the latest batch highlighting the collection’s “Off Noir/Cave Stone/Dusty Sage/Celadon” colorway.

As previously-seen mock-ups suggested, the upcoming sneakers feature a predominantly-muted arrangement that allows for some accents to shine. Sole units and the nubuck mudguard right above them indulge in a tonal “Off Noir” makeup that complements the grey “Cave Stone” mesh base well. Mismatched profile swooshes follow suit, with the lateral side’s reveling in Scott’s affinity for backwardness. Leather panels at the mid-foot and along the tongue deviate from the aforementioned dullness in favor of a slightly more animated “Dusty Sage” hue, while new Cactus Jack-branding on the same-colored tongue boast a disparate “Celadon” tone.

No firm Nike SNKRS release details have been disclosed by the brand, but that’s likely to change soon. In any case, enjoy images of the Air Max pair ahead.
