RECOUTURE Shares A Patchworked adidas Forum Lo Sample

RECOUTURE Shares A Patchworked adidas Forum Lo Sample

RECOUTURE, a Japanese repair shop known well for their resoled sneakers, made an official collaboration with adidas only a few years ago. And now, following a number of Campus 80 colorways, the two are teaming up once again, preparing to release a Forum Lo that’s heavier on the patchwork than its predecessor.

Earlier this morning, RECOUTURE shared a very early sample made 1.5 years back. Everything save for the tooling is pieced together out of excess materials, creating an extremely busy aesthetic made up of many a different square. Grey suedes, white leathers, nubucks, mesh panels, and the like are cut to random sizes and melded together via pronounced zig-zag stitching. Straps and the side’s Three Stripes are laid down hastily in complement, completing a hand-executed pair that is sure to be difficult to replicate.

As the shoe was comprised of various scraps, production was believed to be nigh impossible; but the designer shares that product based on the concept will be coming at the end of the month. Enjoy a look at the sample here as we await official release details and imagery.

In other news, the YZY KNIT RNR BT Sulfur drops tomorrow.
