Michael Le With nerd culture’s popularity soaring astronomically in the past few years, brands like Nike have tried their best to capture the audience. The “Have A Good Game” collection is one of their on-going attempts, echoed across shoes both new and old.
Here, the theme returns via the Air Max Pre-Day. And while made with gamers in mind, most of the colorway is built atop neutrals. White lays the base, creams dress over top the toe and eye stay, and the tooling follows suit save for its blue-tinged Air unit. Above, the Swooshes introduce similarly muted colors, alternating with hits of violet and salmon. These, though loud relative to the aforementioned, pale next to the volt and hot pink screens, some of which are removable and serve as a backdrop to the pack-exclusive insignia.
